Over a half-century ago, as the Evansville community grew and family housing flourished, the demand increased for overhead door systems to shield the family vehicles and other possessions from the elements. Louis Rothschild decided to fill a need when he opened Evansville Garage Doors in 1953. As the market for overhead doors continued to grow, so did Evansville Garage Door’s reputation. By the time Louis’s son Bob Rothschild took over the family business in 1985, Evansville Garage Doors had become the area’s leader in overhead door sales and service. Now, as Bob’s sons Jeff and Chris become the family’s third generation to run the organization’s day-to-day operations, the uncompromising commitment to customer satisfaction has never been stronger.
